You're absolutely right, it is none of their business! People still seem to be hooked on the idea that you HAVE to get married once you are in a long-term relationship, they seem to believe that a couple that are together but not married is not a real relationship, what an absolutely idiotic idea is that?
I think most people are just too fixed on the idea of marriage, as if that's the most important thing in the whole world and that once you get married and "settle down" and have kids, nothing can go wrong...pfffshahaha@that!

Yes! You must read it, it's not too big a read, I myself finished it in about three hours lol! But it's a great book, very funny and just downright silly.

I had the same thing happen to me after my two sisters had children. My mum and family kept saying to me 'its your turn next' like i was expected to hurry out and pop out a baby or two. Its so frustrating when people think you have to do what they are doing because it just makes sence.

Lucky (or unlucky..lol..i am not sure) for me Joe doesnt want to get married ever so at least i know where i stand with that when people ask and its not as if Joe hasnt made it abundently clear to his friends he thinks its a waste of time either. This somewhat offends me when he says it because i think whats wrong with me, but in other ways it gives me a good answer when people ask.

And you are not old. You have to let these things happen naturally or you both will feel uncomofortable in yourselfs.

Awww chicka, people just need to realise that it'll happen when it happens and that's all there is to it. I guess they just expect these things to take place after a certain amount of time....I know I've found myself asking my best friends sister if she's married yet, being that she's been with her partner for 11 years now, simply out of curiosity but yeah I suppose I should really have just kept my big nose out of it lol
