For musicians/artists on MySpace.

That's concerning. :(

But what if they post something that's not theirs? I get people posting my artwork up there, no way that gives MySpace the right to use it. Stupid fucking MySpace. I don't know why anyone would want an account there anyway. =_=''

Ditto. MySpace is the lowest common denominator on the web as it is. What the hell do they do when thieves post work there?

Ee-yup. Seen that before. One of the 453094850293 reasons not to use myspace.

My original argument is not to use MySpace because it's simply stupid, especially since I knew something had to be up with Rupert buying it.. I'm just really sad because ALL of the Indy bands I know have one. Even if its deleted from the site, they have a backup to use? WTF?

That's seriously fucked up. I had an account with Myspace and I'm glad that I only used it as a form of communication for friends from the east coast. Very, very glad that I deleted my account.

I now have this strange urge to submit child porn and instructions to make nuclear weapons to MySpace.
Too bad I don't have either of those...

Well, considering the multitude of songs that weren't actually uploaded by the artist personally myspace now owns about every top 40's hit for the last 7 years.
