Finally found the reason of my problem!!

So like I mention in earlier posts, I was having issues with my game. I asked around and a lot said it was a problem with my graphics card. And it was not. I found today that Windows 7 x64 is not compatible with The Sims 2 v.1. So I got the Sims 2 Double Deluxe which is compatible and now everything is fine. I don't have awful glitches anymore!

D:!!!! I have sims 2 not sims 2 deluxe. I don't wanna rebuy it lol I'm glad you could get your game fixed. Sims is just so much fun. even if you leave it for a while, you always have to come back to it ^_^

I didn't rebuy it either, I don't have money for this. Imagine if it didn't worked, I would have spend at least 15 euro for nothing.

Nice!!! I can only imagime what you went through with all those reinstallments. It's really stressful. Now you can enjoy your game!

I was very disappointed every time I taught that the game was working and it was not. Reinstalling Sims 2 is fast if you compare it to installing Sims 3 :)

Damn 3 years! I only had problems for like 2-3 weeks. Sims 3 works fine for me but I was missing the Sims 2.

That's strange, I have the regular Sims 2 (not Double Deluxe) and Win7 (x64), but I've never had problems with it (besides some minor graphic card updates). :P *knocks wood*

I don't know, it's strange like you say. Is it the deluxe version, because on microsoft website it said that only the version 1 with only the sims 2 on it don't work with x64. I hope nothing of what happened to me will happen to you. :)

I started playing sims yesterday and took pictures, because I want to play a Legacy Challenge. When I looked in my screenshot folder, nothing was there. I forgot to reinstall Fraps but it's fine I played only for 2 sims-day. And he only meet his future wife :D

No, I have the basic The Sims 2 base game(DVD). And it works just fine. :) Oh well...

I had the 4 cds version not the DVD. I think it's why it is working for you :)
