Ah, April 9th... the day after my Day of Doom (I did the things I was obligated to do - Terpsichore and my early music ensemble concert - but had fun doing both!) No rest for the wicked, though. The end of the semester draws near!

There are really two scary things needing completion before the end of the semester:

SCA performance standards are ridiculously low and people were very, very pleased

I would suspect that no one dancing thought of you as 'performing', just as they did not feel that they were performing dances. We (the dancers) were having fun, and you played with us and increased the fun dramatically.... and so we were thrilled.

It would be different if you were, say, doing a concert of Renaissance era music on the Performing Arts stage at Pennsic.

I got your postcard! Thanks! I propose reciprocation -- how about a ye olde Colonial Williamsburg one when I get back to school in the fall? Somebody's got to keep the U.S. Postal Service from atrophying under the weight of bulk credit card offers, after all.
