I like this - a nicely "ordinary" way for an extraordinary pair to meet!

I have a suspicion that the first thing she says to him-- after the running, and the yelling, and the "Well, we were making up an exhibit to replace the Pantheon--"-- is "Will travelling with you count for my degree requirement?"

This is a perfect way for them to meet.

I don't think she's River Song yet. And Melody Pond is long gone. She's a university student, there on a summer placement, with two parents who love her, and a hint of something strange around the edges of her life, with the things her parents don't say.

And then the Doctor comes, and asks her to be his Companion. And he doesn't know who she is either... (I am trying to avoid the imprinting mess.)
