Don't you dare hide it! I LOVE IT. It's so kitschy, it's perfect. I definitely can see the Barbie connection, but I also see something that makes you chuckle every time you have to do that particular chore. :P

I love that iron, we rarely use irons too, but to tell you a little secret, I actually like ironing, it makes me feel all grown up!

We do have an iron but it is broken because I stashed it away in a cupboard and Mark opened the cupboard and it fell out and broke, so I think I will have to get another one, but I begrudge spending money on something I hardly use!

That one was under £5!
Hope you're feeling a bit better and get it all sorted out soon.

That's cute!

I have an iron which I have never used to the last 20 years. I opened the box to check it had a plug and that was it. Funnily enough I had a real travel iron as a child, it was the size of my palm and pink. I don't know what my parents were thinking of I could have hurt myself with it

Weren't we subjected to so much danger in those days!
We survived to tell the tales, though.
Love and hugs

Well, I love it.

I always say I hate ironing, but when I do iron, I realize it's not that bad. I imagine I really would hate it if I had to do much of it.

I'm the same. I think I hate ironing because my mother did, but when I get down to it, it's not too bad at all and it's a great excuse to spend an hour listening to a play on the radio or listening to music on the iPod.

I do think the modern steam irons make the job so much easier though. Mine's pale bluey-green rather than pink, but they're so much prettier than they used to be as well as more efficient.

No, don't hide it, Penny! It's quite the thing these days. I have a very similar one in orange.
I try to iron as little as possible but since we don't have tumble dryers here, I find it's a necessary evil way too often.
