I seriously wish so-called Blaine stans would stop bitching about the lack of character development. Also, if people refused to watch this week's episode? Then they honestly have no right to complain about lack of Blaine development because I damn well felt we got quite a bit ( Read more... )

The only part that irritated me was the same scene that bothered you…Kurt going to the God Squad to talk. At that moment, I wondered if any of the writers were atheists because I don’t know any atheist who would turn to them in any time of need.

A warning Would have been nice, now that you mentioned it. When I realized what Karofsky was up to, I had a serious trigger and am just lucky I’m in a better part of my grieving process or I would have totally lost it, big time (like turn off the show and try not to have a panic attack lost it)…and I don’t even like the character.

Thank you for mentioning how they blow off depression and bullies…I’ve noticed both this time and in the past and it annoys me, BUT they address these things and most shows do not even talk about it. So, a person has to give them credit for that!!

The episode was good but not fantastic. I certainly didn’t hate it.

I mean sure I like Blaine and more developement would always be better, but that's true for any character and it has never been what Glee has been especially good at, so I'm continously amazed at all the people who are surprised at that every time.

The only interesting thing to come out of tumblr about this this week was a very interesting little meta about how much we actually do know about Blaine just from his moments in the background. As you said I think he is totally moving into the circle of very developed (for glee) characters.

I was honestly kind of shocked at the very varying reactions to On My Way, mainly because...there were things that one could legitimately complain about (just as in every Glee episode) but most of the people seemed to fixate on totally different issues ( ... )

So, I know this post/discussion has gray hairs, but I just came back to scan your LJ after a long absence, and... This. I'm so glad someone else had this general reaction. I pretty much had to step away from the Tumblr tag because, as you said, there was absurd amounts of hate I couldn't get on with (about things that were pretty irrelevant, imo), and absurd amounts of love for things that- just- no ( ... )
