IRK? There can be narrative tension without him being a total jerk. They can be close and still have conflict between them. God knows my siblings are two of my best friends in the whole world but that doesn't mean we don't have our issues once and awhile. Why does everything have to one extreme or another with this fandom? (And why is everybody team Blangst? I want my boy to be happy dammit.)
