Okay, I'd like to make something clear to the entire world. Yes, that's right, the entire freaking world.

You are not entitled to reviews. And yes, that includes me. I realize that if I wrote something and got no reviews, no comments, no feedback for it, that would be perfectly justified. So please, please, do not bother me with the fact that I ( Read more... )

Applause, Applause!!! I am jaed621 some of you know my work from the ff site. As a writer, I LOVE reviews because they are a complete stroke to my ego and even when they aren't I appreciate the fact that a reader takes the time to give their opinion. I am especially flattered when someone comments on the style or a particular phrase or section that moved them. All reviews are a gift, of your time and thoughts and I could not sgree with you more on this topic. As a writer I try to give constructive and supportive reviews especially with writers that I see trying new things and growing in their work. I like to let them know that I noticed and I probobly review 90% of what I read but there are occassions that I choose not to and I too consider this my perogative. I also recieved an e-mail asking why I had not reviewed and was put off by the question, I don't owe a writer a review. As an author I joke in my author's notes with my readers to make them feel comfortable leaving their opinions or occassionally ask if there is interest ( ... )

Hey you. How's it going? Yeah, Gayle told me you got the same email. And I have to say, I had been kind of wondering who else got it. And what their reactions were, because when I read it? Spazzing in indignation. Especially considering the case. I mean, it's not like it was lacking for reviews or anything. But I did go back and review that last chapter, although I wonder if a gushing review like the rest was expected, because that wasn't what I ended up giving.

If I had a review for every reader...the world would probably end. So it's just as well that I don't.

You're welcome, and thank you for writing. The fandom can always do with more quality writers who do it for the love. And on that note, I eagerly anticipate the next installment of Bathing Beauty. 'Cause there's going to be more, right? Hee.
