Chapter 6 - Gosh, no violence please!?
While scribbling, Yamada kept quiet. Every stroke was a sure line, like how he usually does it. He is aware that Louise was watching him, and being used to people looking at him do things, he didn’t mind. They were sitting on a bench, side by side and he noticed that Louise was swaying her feet back and forth -like a little kid while idling by a swing. With this, Yamada just realized that Louise isn’t much of a tall person. He chuckled at the thought and the girl spoke, “Ah, wow… That’s the Ferris Wheel, right?”
Yamada stopped drawing and looked at what he’s done. It was well defined, not perfect yet identifiable -the Ferris wheel’s view from where they are. “Well, it’s not much, but yeah, I guess.”
Louise took the liberty to take back her sketch book and pulled it away from her to look at the drawing from afar. “It’s like the silhouette, captured on paper.”
(Oh yeah. It was silly of me to have missed it, but in reality, there’s no Ferris Wheel in Hakkeijima Sea Paradise. T_T gomen, but for the sake of this scene and story, please build a Ferris Wheel in your mind. Haha! Arigato!)
Yamada handed back her charcoal pencil with a grin, then said, “I’m tired of compliments.” He laughed at his own remark and added, “Jodan des… (Just kidding)” with a chuckle.
“Well, aren’t you so full of yourself?” it came out like an automatic response from Louise; obviously missing the “Just kidding” part.
Yamada chuckled again. “That’s probably the first time someone said that to me.”
Surprised, Louise looked down and opened her bag. “Sorry.” Louise closed her sketchbook and placed her stuff back inside her bag; she looked a bit taken-aback. “I didn’t mean to be so frank.” She does look like she’s embarrassed; probably thinking that she became a little too confident saying stuff out.
Yamada waved a hand over his face, as if pushing away the awkward atmosphere. “Nah... You’re right anyway.” With that, he laughed. “Or at least I think you are… Put it simply, I agree with what you said.” There was that strange smug on his face -the first time Louise has seen it.
So then, she looked at him questioningly. “You are one strange guy.”
Yamada laughed more and looked at her. She just noticed now how his eyes kind of light up whenever he smiles. She wished for a moment her eyes were like that too. “Am I? So, I’m being judged now, huh?” his tone felt like he’s actually being serious, though Louise was quite used to sarcasm occasionally.
After she shrugged, she smiled and put up a look that says she doesn’t quite care. “I’m weird like that I guess.”
“Everybody’s weird in their own way. Don’t go claiming it all to yourself.” With a smile, Yamada looked up at the roller coaster ride where Yuto and the others were on.
“Well, you sound awfully rude today…” it was a joke, but whether Yamada understood it, Louise wasn’t too sure. Not till she heard him chuckle again, like he’s been doing the past few minutes. It sounds more like he’s trying not to laugh too much. “Sorry, I’m being a little too comfortable talking, am I?”
Yamada still has a smug on his face before covering his mouth with the back of his hand. A few seconds, he cleared his throat and looked back at Louise. “You should be, right? We’ve met. I don’t see anything wrong with being talkative to someone you’re acquainted with.” There his eyes shone again, accompanied with a smile as he continued, “rather… to a friend.”
“I may sound strange, but I feel like you’re not the Yamada-san I’ve met back at the Art room the other day.” With her statement Yamada laughed and she continued, “What?”
“Betsuni…” he held his laughed as he uttered this. Looking back up the roller coaster, the thing is now doing some crazy loops, and then twisting a few distances. He squinted for the sun was blinding him a little. Louise was watching the roller coaster too as it takes a quick turn, then do some loops, some crazy whatever, and she felt really relieved not riding it. It seems like Yamada read her mind for he said, “I’m glad I didn’t ride that one.”
“Same here.” An automatic response, she’s sure.
“I’m not that scared of those rides, they just make me feel dizzy.”
“Uh-huh. I know exactly what you mean.” She rested an elbow to her lap and her chin to her hand.
“And you know, I just got some new glasses, they’re giving me some headaches.” The topic seemed out of nowhere at first, but Yamada went on saying, “And with those headaches, riding crazy rides wouldn’t be a good idea.”
Louise looked up at him only to notice that he’s wearing his black-framed eyeglasses. “I used to wear glasses. Well, I still do, I just don’t wear them often.” She looked back and saw the line on the roller coaster, still the same length as before. People just wouldn’t stop falling in line for the darn thing. “Oh, I’m just merely stating that I understand the headache part, being someone who had worn glasses, that’s all…”
Yamada took off his glasses and Louise watched him as he squinted and looked towards the people a few feet away from them. “Don’t go thinking I’m using the glasses as an excuse not to get on devastating rides okay, it’s not like that.” He sounded like he’s reminding her of something she should know.
Louise felt a sudden urge to tease the guy, but she held back. Instead, she let out an, “Umm, wakata…” before turning to look at the roller coaster that now has appeared to stop.
Yamada looked at her with disbelief. “Uso… (You’re lying..)”
“Huh?” Louise looked at him, surprised. “No, I’m not.” If she’s being real, she’s not sure herself. Louise focused on the people slowly getting off the exit of the coaster.
“You sound like you’re not listening either…”
Louise laughed. “Oh sorry, I’m just usually like this. Gomen ne; but, I swear I heard everything you said.” Expecting for the others to arrive soon, Louise looked at Yamada. “Guys. Will. ALWAYS. Be. Guys.” She said word-per-word with enough weight and elaboration. What she meant was that guys always make sure they put up a strong front -much like how Yamada wants to make sure she doesn’t go off thinking he’s being a chicken when it comes to amusement park extreme rides.
“Ha?” it was a very honest remark from Yamada, Louise thought. She then recalled quickly if she had said her words in English. There was a slight pause before Yamada said, “And you call me strange.” Yamada pretended like he’s disappointed, shaking his head and with that fake expression, Louise couldn’t help but laugh a little. The guy’s funny in his own kind of way, and strange enough, he makes her feel okay. It’s like, how Yuto and Raiya make her feel. Yamada isn’t much like a stranger to her now, she guesses, not like Chinen. “Ah, I think they’re done.”
Of course she’s seen them get off, Louise was expecting them. “Oh, Keito… Are you okay? You look pale.” Louise and Yamada stood up at the same time to meet the others half way, and Louise was a little concerned on Keito’s color.
“Ah… yeah… I’m fine… Just a little umm… yeah…” the guy answered back in English while holding his tummy. “…bloody jet coaster…”
“He was screaming like a girl!” Yuto was nice enough to tease the now color-regaining Keito. “When the roller coaster was released from that height, we have our backs turned right? Then, Keito went -WWWWAAAAAAAHHHHHH!- he was flinging his hands like this…” Yuto demonstrates a kind of lousy looking person with rubber arms while screaming. “I tell you, I wish I had it on video.”
Keito glared at him before bumping Yuto hard enough with his sides. Yuto tried to regain his balance as quickly as possible. “You were screaming too!” Keito cleared his throat and stood up straight and said, “Yuto was like… Mommy! Mommy! Get me down from here! KYAAAA!”
“No I wasn’t!”
“I’ll go tell mom you called for her.” Raiya was nice enough to add wood to the fire. Yuto looked like he was about to cry so the whole group laughed.
They all agreed that it’s time for lunch and Keito couldn’t be any happier. The group walked around and stopped when they reached the side where all kinds of food booths are. There were also some restaurants, and cafés for those who prefer some fancy dining. But they all kind of shared the same idea of buying some burgers, and other finger-foods along with sodas or ice creams.
They were lucky enough to find a table, but it can only fit four people. Louise sat down and told the group that she’ll wait by the table while the others grab their food. Keito lands his bag on a chair beside Louise and said, “I’m gonna get a HUGE burger. I’m so hungry.” Louise heard Keito talk before he walks towards the big burger stand with a lot of people standing in line.
Yamada and Chinen placed their gym bags under the table (since they’re pretty big) before heading towards a pizza stand. Yuto and Raiya were still talking about what to eat since the kid is insisting that he wants some ramen while Yuto’s craving to try some chicken burger. “Nii-chan! Let’s go to the ramen shop!”
“Rai-chan, I want that chicken burger!”
“Ramen!”
“Chicken burger!”
“Hey, you two…” Louise watched them argue for a while before interjecting. “Hush up… Trivial Yuu-chan, trivial…” she sounded like she’s a mother scolding her kid. “Why don’t you go to one store first then the other?”
“Demo, it’s going to take forever. Can you see the line Ruu-chan?” Yuto said his face helpless.
Louise rolled her eyes. “Then ask Keito to buy your burger.”
Yuto pouted and Raiya just pulled him towards Keito. “Hurry up nii-chan, I’m hungry!”
“Okay, okay! Complaining you’re hungry… You just ate!” Yuto muttered his few lines before running towards and handing Keito his money. Louise and Raiya watched and soon Yuto bowed and waved a hand, saying “Arigato” and he’s back with them. “Okay now mister, let’s get going.” Raiya was skipping towards his ramen shop and Yuto shook his head as if he couldn’t believe he has such a brother. “Ruu-chan, what about you?”
Louise just sat down and took out her sketch pad when she heard Yuto spoke to her. She was tapping her pencil on her chin when she looked up and has a questioning face. “Ha? Gomen…”
“What about your lunch?”
Louise raised her eyebrows and pouted towards Raiya’s direction. “Raiya’s waiting Yuu-chan… Hurry up!”
With a scowl, Yuto ran towards his brother who’s already in the line.
While waiting, Louise was just entertained watching people come and go with different kinds of foods at hand. She noted one guy with a mountain of chips, probably nachos, and saw the oozing lava of cheese. Then there’s this girl with a typical looking salad, and a glass of bubble tea on her other hand. She looked around more and landed her sight on a group of girls giggling, while sipping their drinks, which Louise thought was fancy. One was holding her straw with her pinky-finger out -very girlish.
With that thought, Louise flipped to a blank page and started sketching her messy lines. She stops sometimes to look at her finger, while sticking out her pinky. She then drew a cup, more like a tea cup and made the details darker. A little satisfied, she looked at her work. It’s a girl’s left hand holding a tea cup, of course, with the pinky finger out. After giving out a sigh, Louise closed her sketch book and let her eyes wander about again. Her thoughts were somewhere else though, thinking what else she could draw while waiting for time to pass.
She rested her elbow on the table, and her chin on her hand. Unknowingly, she then started drumming her fingers on the table, and occasionally blows out her bangs while looking up at them. She always make sure she have these side-swept bangs, just so she can partially hide her kind-of (but not too much) wide forehead. Moments later, she fixed her hair and then coincidentally spotted this group of girls from before, giggling and whispering at each other. She was curious as to what they were so excited about. Being a girl, you could say that Louise can partially read their mind. She observed the girls, and now they were holding back some shrieks; probably out of too much excitement, or joy, or how do they express it in Tagalog? Kilig? Not really sure what word it fits-in in English, Louise tried to looked around for their apple-of-the-eye.
Her search ended quickly, realizing who the girls were looking at. “No kidding…” Louise uttered under her breath when she noticed that the girls were looking at the pizza store where Yamada and Chinen are now waiting for their order. Not really surprised, she shook her head.
Yamada got his food first and told Chinen that he’ll go on ahead of him. Chinen answered with a nod and a tight smile then Yamada was slightly running towards their table.
Louise still has her chin resting on her hand, and she did kind of look bored. Soon, she saw Yamada approaching, and voila, the set of girls’ eyes following him. She chuckled and Yamada laid his food on the table. “You look amused.”
“Do I?” She smiled before looking at what Yamada has. “Meat lover I see. And you look hungry…” it was her remark upon seeing four slices of pizza on Yamada’s tray, and three iced tea bottles.
“Oh, this is for you… Chinen and I thought we should grab something for you…” Yamada handed her a plate with two slices of pizza in it. Then he gave her a bottle of iced tea as well. “I hope iced tea and pizza’s okay. You’re not vegetarian, are you?”
“Woah woah, this is… I mean, I was planning on buying my own food.” Louise was obviously trying not to look shy. Having people buy her something, especially by surprise is not really the kind of scenario she’s well prepared on facing.
Yamada smiled and rolled his eyes. “It’s fine, just take it. Onegai?”
Louise was not too sure whether the way she looked at Yamada was close to a glare. The guy then started eating his pizza. “I’m a little embarrassed by what you guys did, to be frank. Appreciated, but…”
He swallowed his first few bites then spoke, “I kind of expected you’d say that. But I’m telling you, you don’t have to be. It’s our treat.”
“Why?”
“I dunno. Sometimes we do stuff without reason.”
“Oh, thanks?” Sarcasm again right there, and Louise thought how well she could talk like this in front of this guy.
Yamada just had a big bite and he had to swallow it quickly or else he’ll spit it out for he was holding his laughter. “You’re funny Umi-chan.”
A little embarrassed still, Louise took her slice. “I’m glad though. This is my favourite.” Then she took a sumptuous bite, recalling a little her pizza days with Yuma back in Winnipeg. “Arigato.”
While busy finishing up his chewing, Yamada tried to smile without showing his teeth. Louise thought the guy is naturally cute, whatever he does.

“… and now we’re here, eating free lunch treated by the princess that landed on Meiji University…” Daiki was concluding his story while Line looked at him a little uninterested. “Ne Kei-chan?”
Inoo was busy flipping some almost cooked sweet bacon and just nodded, obviously not understanding what Daiki has just said.
Line let out a little chuckle, amused by how Daiki is being ignored despite his tries to irritate her with bringing up the subject that she’s rich. “I don’t see why the story about how you and Daiki became friends suddenly detoured to me being a princess….” She said these straight as if on a debate. “Seriously Dai-chan....”
Inoo raised his chopsticks near his mouth, and blew on his nicely cooked sweet bacon before swallowing it. He was nodding, although neither Daiki nor Line knows what he’s nodding about or to whom he’s nodding to.
A little taken-aback by Inoo, Daiki focused his attention on other stuff that is nearly cooked in their pan in the middle. He’s sitting right in front of Line while Inoo sits to Line’s right. He looked at Line and made an apologetic face, but Line reckoned it’s not that genuine. “Gomen ne. I was just kidding…”
“Forget it. I’m being a little too dramatic about this topic. Call me whatever you want, bah… who cares…”
Daiki laughed the moment Line rolled her eyes. “You say you don’t care, and then you look like you’re faking a ‘pissed off’ face, laughs… Line-chan, I didn’t realize how random you could be.”
“That wasn’t randomness… Oh…” Line was shocked when Inoo took a chunk-full of the roasted beef from the pan and slammed them to his mouth, some bits falling on the table.
Daiki frowned and said, “Uwaa…. Kei-chan, can’t you be a little messier?” Line noticed how funny Daiki looked; with that face of him that says he’s irritated and embarrassed and partly holding his laughter.
Not knowing how wide her smile is, Line just grabbed a thick stack of napkins and handed it to Inoo. “You look like a three year old Kei-chan.”
“Yeah, next time remind me to bring a bib.” Daiki’s eyebrows were meeting in the center and he heard Line laughed.
“Hey! It’s not my fault I’m hungry… and…” Inoo wiped off his mouth and takes some veggies to swallow. After some chewing, he continued, “it’s not my fault food here’s great. The food at the dorm was okay, but I need something new and great sometimes…”
Daiki was shaking his head while Line thought he looked like a disappointed and embarrassed dad. She laughed at the thought of Daiki and Inoo being father and son, last time she checked, Inoo was older - at the moment, it doesn’t seem like it.
The three then kept eating, then cooking, and Inoo occasionally asks for additional raw ingredients. Their conversations moved from Daiki and Inoo, to Line; take turns, so as to how Inoo puts it.
So far, they’ve talked about elementary days, how Daiki and Inoo didn’t get to see each other in a while, and Line had her fair share of stories as to how school in Canada is. She thought of how nonstop it is to talk with these guys - she asks a question, and they have something to ask back; it’s more like a never ending loop of curiosity for both sides.
As time passes, mouths chewed, swallowed and talked, soon Line was the first to say she’s done eating. She leaned back on her chair a little and tapped her tummy discreetly, feeling a wee bit full for her liking. “I’m sooo full…” she uttered this after drinking some water.
Inoo was munching on some lettuce and looked at Line with his eyebrows raised. “You’re done?”
“Aren’t you?” she sounded surprised, though she didn’t mean to; this tone of hers received a laugh from Daiki. He’s now slumped a little on his chair, and Line noticed him take a kind-of deep breath. “Daichan looks full too…”
“I am… man, didn’t think I could eat that much…”
Inoo finished his last set of munching before settling himself on the seat. Throughout the meal, he has his back straight, looking like he’s concentrating a lot while eating. Now, he looked like a satisfied giant, well, satisfied… it’s impossible for him to be a giant.
The three enjoyed a few minutes of silence between them, and the waiter asked them if they wanted some desserts now. “Ah, maybe after a few minutes… Arigato.” It was Inoo who kind-of sent him away
“Wow, I thought you would be thrilled for ice creams…” Daiki remarked, straightening himself up resting his elbows on the table.
Inoo yawned a little and drank some water before replying, “Well, I need to clear some space in my tummy.” With a smile, he turned to Line. “By the way Line-chan, I’ve been meaning to ask…”
Hearing her name, Line opened her eyes. She let them close for a few seconds; feeling really full makes her a little sleepy. “Huh? Nani?”
“You like cameras, right? Taking pictures and stuff…”
Line felt a surge of interest from Inoo’s question and she propped herself up. “Hai, doushite?”
“Well, nothing really… I just want to say how cool I think that is.”
“Oh…” was all she could mutter, and not sure what to say really, Line let out a “Pfft” afterwards
“Kei-chan and I have seen the picture you’ve taken. They were pretty cool.”
She smiled. Honestly, the compliment was much appreciated. “Uh… thanks…” then a flash of thought came upon her. “Oh! Chotto…”
Daiki and Inoo waited as Line fishes something out of her bag and she then produced her camera. She hastily handed it to no-one in particular, probably expecting someone to take it from her hand while she takes out something else.
When Daiki automatically held Line’s camera, Line ducked down to the bag under their table. Inoo tried to see what they’re friend is suddenly so hyped up about. Curious, he finally asked, “What is it Line-chan?”
There was no response, and Line now has her head under the table. Daiki and Inoo could hear the noise of plastics being moved, taped being taken out, and some more plastic-ky sounds. Inoo automatically looked at Daiki and Daiki just shrugged and rested his hands on his lap. He was holding onto the camera safely.
A little impatient and clueless, Inoo raised his voice a little as slightly shouted, “Line-chan!!!”
THUG!!! The sound of a hard head hitting wood echoed for a millisecond and soon, an irritated scowl followed.
“OWW!!!! Ite!!!” Line’s head popped from under the table; obviously she hit her head and was holding onto it.
Daiki and Inoo couldn’t control their laughter and all Line could do was pretend she’s a little angry, but in reality she wanted to laugh. Let’s face it; hitting her head all on her own was pretty funny. The three waited until the sudden surge of humour dissipates.
“Seriously, that hurt.” She tapped her head a little before she places what appears to be the thing she was so busy taking out. “I think I’ve got a bump.”
Inoo tapped her head, like a teacher comforting a kindergarten after crying. “Kawaii Line-chan…oh…” he saw the lens Line was holding. “Is that the one you just got?”
Line nodded and asked for her camera. Daiki gave it to her right away and the guys watched her tinker here and there, and soon, the new lens was attached. “I actually bought two: one for super zoom and one for close-up shots. I ought to try these… might as well do them here. Smile!” She held up her camera and clicked the shutter button with Daiki and Inoo half expecting her to take a shot. Line laughed, knowing she’s just taken one of the most candid shots she’s ever imagined and looked at the picture on her screen.
When she saw their faces, she burst out laughing. In between laughs, Line let her words escape… “This… this is just… priceless….”
Daiki hurried to her side and Inoo leaned in closer. They insisted on seeing the picture. Line held it out in front of her for them to see, and the three of them were kind of temple to temple, looking over her camera’s LCD.
There was a moment of silence, about a fraction of a thousandth, and Daiki and Inoo laughed as well. “Kei-chan, you look like you’re going to pick your nose!”
“What about you? You look like you’ve dropped your pants!”
Line was too occupied laughing that she couldn’t comment on their remarks. Daiki then insisted that Line should have her own candid shot too, but she tried to keep the camera away from them so they won’t be able to take her picture.
Unfortunately, with two against one, what are her odds? Daiki stood behind her, held her forearms while Inoo easily takes her camera.
“Line-chan!” Inoo called out her name as if she’s a one year old on a photo shoot.
With Daiki’s kind-of tight grip on her arms, Line forced to reach for the camera, to cover the lens perhaps, but she heard the ‘click’ and there was a pause while Inoo looked at the result. It wasn’t long before he laughed aloud again, then hushing himself, afraid they’ll attract too much attention. “Mite Dai-chan!”
“Oi! Oi! No fair!” Line complained and Daiki approached Inoo to look at the shot.
“Nyaha!” Daiki sounded like he’s telling her that it’s a tie. “Sugoi Line chan…”
“Nani sugoi? Kawaii… Look how she tries to get the cam, laughs, Line-chan’s so desperate ne?”
“I would like to see you get your picture taken while trapped… Dai-chan’s surprisingly strong…” she took the camera quickly from Inoo and said, “Kei-chan’s turn!”
“Yame-“ Inoo was about to run but Daiki already has his hands gripping on Inoo’s shoulder.
“Kawaii Kei-chan!” Line was just taking shot after another, and Daiki wasn’t aware she was taking photos of him too. Inoo was fighting to get himself free and soon they were trying to get a hold of the other.
It was a sudden riot, but the three of them enjoyed it. Soon a waiter went to their table and the three tried their best not to look too messy.
Despite their efforts, Daiki noticed the waiter laughed a little upon seeing them. Well, they can’t really blame the waiter. With Inoo’s hair out of place, Daiki’s nose a little red since Inoo pinched it hard, and of course, Line hiding behind her chair, who wouldn’t think they look like the new and modern three stooges?
“Would you like some dessert now?” The guy tried to keep it casual. Line straightened herself up and requested for some vanilla ice cream. Daiki cleared his throat before asking for a chocolate, and Inoo smiled before saying cheesecake.
The waiter was gone, and the three were laughing to themselves. Line went back to her seat, still fully on guard. “Seriously, I think we’ve had enough.” It wasn’t a serious statement, just mere saying that she doesn’t think she can handle any more of their stupidity.
Daiki and Inoo laughed and agreed, and they all had their drink of water. Who would’ve thought playing like that would be tiring?
“Let’s go take a look shall we?” Line offered, and quickly she has her mini-laptop on top of the table. It was a red, HP netbook with 10 inch screen.
“Oh, a new one too?” Inoo remarked, as he looked at the tiny thing.
“Uh, nope. I brought it with me too, from Canada…”
“I thought you have that Macbook….”
“And this too… I have two… this one’s usually for taking notes, it’s lighter so I decided to bring this today…”
“Oh… kawaii…” Daiki was now sitting to Line’s left. Since the netbook was pretty small, Line placed it atop the table a little farther from the three of them so all of them can see. Quickly, she connected her memory card and soon after, they were browsing and looking at the newly, fresh pictures.
Since the first shot, the three has been laughing and laughing. Line didn’t really realize how many of shots they’ve taken in that short period of time.
Good enough, all three of them have their kind of fair share of pictures… Lots for Daiki, Inoo and Line’s solo shots, and very few were blurry or incomprehensible. The wonder great lens can do.
The three kept looking and laughing at their silliest up until the waiter came with their desserts.
Munching on their sweets, Line kept clicking the next button, and picture after picture was just hilarious.
When they reached the end files, the three of them decided to go back and see what the top funny pictures are.
“For Line-chan,” Daiki said, “nothing beats the first one! You know, when you’re reaching to cover the lens. Ends up, your mouth’s open!” he ended with laughter and Line uttered a joking ‘Che!’ before she spoke back.
“Dai-chan’s winner picture is when Kei-chan was struggling to break his hands free. Daiki’s nostrils looked like they’re going to blow out smoke!” Line upon saying this, she even tried to imitate Daiki’s kind of enlarged nostrils. Daiki was saying he doesn’t look as such and they all just laughed.
“Demo, demo… I think Kei-chan wins the funniest picture Line-chan…”
Inoo had just swallowed a big bite of his cheesecake and complained, “Mata ore ka? (me again?)”
Daiki turned to the photo he had in mind and showed it to Line, but not to Inoo. Line held her laugh, and Daiki grinned.
“Nani!?” Inoo looked like a kid throwing tantrums and was about to slightly pull the notebook towards him when Daiki showed him the picture.
It was a shot where his head was half covered by his shirt hole (collar hole). Apparently when they were trying to capture some seriously funny pictures, Daiki has been telling Line how to tickle Inoo. Since he’s not that ticklish but still is a little, Inoo hid is face under his shirt by pulling up the collar part. Technically, he’s avoiding being tickled around the nape area.
The photo shows his half-hidden face, with just the eyes showing, and the funniest, and in all fairness the cutest thing, about the picture, is that Inoo crossed his eyes, and they were really wide; Line couldn’t remember if she’s seen them this wide.
“Honestly, I think it’s cute!” Inoo’s probably trying to defend himself but Daiki and Line were busy laughing at everything.
