Ouch... That's a bit right-wing for you, isn't it?

Anyway, I thought it was so that future generations of tube-operators would get screwed over by the company. It was nothing to do with pay.

Not really right-wing or left-wing, imo. Just don't like them wanting to be paid more than £30k for driving a bloody train when some entry-level teaching jobs are paid less.
Primarily I find the song amusing though.

Fair enough, but not all strikes are about pay. If we didn't have unions to stand for our rights, we'd all be taking it hard and fast from ExxonNikeEssomart on a daily basis.

I thought that was pretty right wing, with the whole 'do-what-you're-told-and-don't-inconveniance-the-middle-classes' message. Maybe it's better heard than read.
