It was brought to my attention that I never got around to identifying my waterlogged friend. Hobbs is my car. Hobbs is still at Calhoun and St. Charles and I am considering donating him to the university as a terrarium for study of the environment caused by New Orleans flooding. If all goes well we will soon be the worlds leading authority on the flora and fauna of floodwater.
I'm hope I have not caused too much alarm, and thank my friends for their concern. It shows me too things which are always good to hear. Most importantly I'm very lucky to be part of our amazing newtowrk of friends near and far who look out for each other. Secondly, evidently my writing isn't terrible boring or unconvincing. (=
