why don't you just call them and tell them you quit? that way when all your future potential employers call them and find out what you did they won't use that against you.

Doesnt matter, all they have to do is search your SSN and from your Tax records they can back track all employees.

don't worry, I've walked out on tons of jobs. And it hasn't hurt me once yet. You'd be surprised how often people don't even check references on an app. What they see in person is how most go with hiring you or not.
