My mother is here from Tennessee....
She always shows me gross stuff that happens to her (her toenail being ripped off or some abscessed tooth).

"Kannady, you have mascara under your eyes."
"No mom I'm not wearing makeup."
"Kannady, I hope you don't have dark circles like THAT."

Don't let your mom get to you... that I know of you don't get to see her that often so take advantage of what you have when you have it. Even though it isn't always what you want. At least she is here.
