It's funny I don't remember ever playing in mud puddles. I don't know whether I ever did at all. But I do remember jumping in rain puddles to make them splash, getting my shoes and socks wet, and being told not to do it. I don't think I got spanked for it but don't remember. If I did, it didn't stick this long.
