Yea, everyone made a big deal about voting... but I'm not registered. At least to my knowlegde. I'm just tired of everybody saying "If your not happy with the way politics go in the next 4 years, don't complain." But isn't that what makes us a free country anyway, the right to say whatever the fuck we desire to say? I mean, I hear people complain ( Read more... )

blah blah ;P and I think you DONt have a right to say anything about the country if you don't vote, its a PERSONS responsibility to register and vote, being lazy doesnt give someone the right to talk about our current leader when he/she took no effort in changing who could be the person in charge. I mean if you own a house....and your neighbor tells you time after time that you should get a new door and fix this and that, I would tell him to STFU because he didnt buy the house....same concept bucko ;p BWAM! bizzy hehehe

I agree with Aaron 100% here. If one doesn't take the time to register and vote, he/she is either lazy (like me) or doesn't have enough passion about politics in the first place. In either case, politics are simply another thing to bitch about rather than a real issue that you're engaged in. I know I forgot to register on time because I've been too wrapped up in my own affairs, so I'll just let everyone else take care of ranting about politics. Besides, it's really the local level government that affects people the most, so that's what I've been more interested in lately.
