It is sort of spiffy. I'm starting to get ideas for other duct tape creations. It's not padded per se. The front and back are two layers of duct tape, sticky side to sticky side. I made it more as a dust cover. I have a plan for another one that's more book-like, side opening, with corrugated cardboard covered in duct tape.

I need to get more duct tape first.

two sheets of that thin foam padding (that you wrap when moving or shipping) could also be used to make a padded pouch.

And my Target now sells duct tape in all sorts of colors and patterns. :)

The foam's a good idea though I'm trying to go with things I have around the house. And my Target has a ton of colors but I'm a bit of a duct tape traditionalist. I like the silver.
