Regrets?

I feel so messed up lately. Besides my body being messed up, my mind is messed up too. When I got home from Kaohsiung last night, I just cried and cried with my head buried in my pillow. When I went out in Kaohsiung, I think I saw a possibility for my life that for over a year and a half in Taiwan completely eluded me. It's not that I don't love ( Read more... )

I think you've had an awesome revelation Jenni. It's very positive and one you won't forget. It's like looking at life from a different angle, remembering we "live our entire lives in our heads". I like the different shades of eyeglasses myself. No, not the "rose colored" ones this time. Ummm, instead of grey shades you put on yellow shades. Ahhhh, everything is so bright and sunny! Hahhahah. The old "seek and you shall find". Yeah, I agree with your mom that DC will be good for you. Much better opportunity for jobs and stuff. Plus, with the loans, you don't know how much hers actually were. Maybe she only took out a few thousand, so it was easy to pay off quickly. Don't stress :) (I know, easier said than done). It is a shame you didn't know/hear about teaching in another area earlier, but you have had some good experiences and some good times while you were in Taipei (just ignore the mean ladies you work with....they're just pooheads). But if you do decide you want to go back in the future you have more knowledge and experience and contacts and leads on how to do things differently. Besides, it's time for us on this side of the fish pond to get you for a while :P Hope your traveling goes well!
