AMAZING
So I havent updated in a while cuz I have been uber busy.
This past weekend, one of my best friends got married. I was standing up in the wedding so I had to go out early. The wedding was in South Haven, so it was like a mini vacaion.......
So I got out there on Thurs... the weddding was FRI. So it was non-stop the second I got there. We did set-up, rehersal, and dinner that night. After all the formalities we went ice skating with everyone from the rehersal, it was tons o' fun. Since Ben and I grew up playing hockey together, it was quite nice.
Fri morning, we woke up and did usual Wedding Day stuff, well usual for bridal party stuff. I had slept in a little cabin across from Ben's so we did the tux thing, brunch, and then were getting ready to go to the hall that was 30 mins from South haven. Ben and I got some quality time together and that was nice... I felt honored.
We grabbed some subway and hit up the center where the ceremony and reception were. It looked awesome, maybe I can get some pics on here soon. The ceremony went perfect... it serioulsy was so smooth. From there the reception rocked.... it was easy and fun!!! Once dinner was done, we got to the fun part.... but it flew by. I finally got to be with my Tea, after texting her for like days!!!! hehe,.. she was having a blast, I was having a blast, it was just awesome!!! After that everyone was a lil tipsy, but of course I was ok to drive... so we went to the hotel in town where a lot of people were and hung out... not really the place we wanted to be so tea and I went back to our hotel.... and just chilled!!!
We woke up NYE day and were just super happy!!! It was so nice the night before, we decided to stay for NYE and NYD! We swam and showered and went with my parents to the Moose Lodge, had some food and then toured south haven. Tea loved it!!!! :) From there we decided to get some food at an italian place (OF COURSE!)
It was our 5 year anniversary. I know there was a lil hiccup this summer... but its still 5 years, and its still a long time to be together. WE have known each other for like 5 1/2 years, and I can honestly say, I am a better person for it!!! It was a perfect way and place to spend that day with her!!! She made me so happy!!! So from dinner we went to get a few "supplies" for the night and went back to our hotel for a quick nap and change. Well the nap went from like 630-930 lol!!! WE finally got over to the Owens' at like 10. WE didnt know what we were doing. There was some talk of their house, and then out with Emily, Dan, Jessie and Nick. But we ended up just staying at their house. No reason to PAY fro drinks when we had SOOOOO much at the house. Not a lot of drinking went on but we still had fun!! Went back to the hotel and just slept....
Were thinking about staying ANOTHER night, but then decided to save money for ANOTHER trip instead. We woke up NYD and went to church at St. Basils. What a nice thing. From there Brunch at the Owens' which was nice. A long walk on the BEACH... was a cool way to spend the day. From there we went back to their house and everyone started departing. Tea and I didnt want to leave so we grabbed a movie in town. "Chronicles of Narnia." 8.75 for a large pop corn, re-fillable pops, and 2 tickets!!!! You cant beat that. From there we left, almost with my tux, and drove home. We stopped and ate at Cracker Barrell. What a way to end things up.
We got to my house.... and started watching Willy Wonka, but threw in Charlie and the Choc. Factory instead... BIG MISTAKE. We tried to watch Mr. Deeds, but it wasnt going. Charlie seriously drove us insane!!! So we went upstairs and fell asleep ;)
A perfect weekend!!!! It was amazing..... as someone said: "the most fun ever!!!!"

A beautiful wedding, in a beautiful place, with beautiful people. It was like family all weekend. Everyone was loved, everyone was wanted. I could not ask for more!!!!
