LOL. I figured out a lot of the french because I did take it in high school. So you don't move until March??? That's a LONG time. I mean here its maybe a month or two... for me, escrow was LESS than a month which was AWESOME. Now do they have laws there that once you have an accepted offer the seller can't back out? And also do you have all your ducks in a row?? That would be an awesome house for you guys.
We're actually moving a lot sooner than we planned! Our lease ends next June and we planned not to move until then but yanno...it was too good. We're a bit taken aback actually AND by law we have 10 days to get all the papers to the mortgage lady AND get the house inspected. It's short notice but it's worth it. I have like 6300$ I saved just for the whole thing, to pay the notary and welcome taxes and the building inspector and shit. I'm a compulsive saver since I've started working, which is annoying but useful I guess...
Legally they can't back out now, neither can we, UNLESS the inspector finds nasty shit in the house. Like the ghost of the '70s.
How cool is that?! Soon (well, or... eventually) you'll all move into this super cliché place and it'll be your home and ALL YOURS FOREVER AND EVER!! :D Congrats!!!!
I asked Grumpy if I could buy cheezy bad paintings from thrift stores, paint stupid things like Godzilla or the whole Mario Kart crew or Billy Mays on them, and hang them in the basement. AND HE SAID YES! I have an awesome boyfriend.
