This is from MySpace, where I posted it the same night it happened. I was angry, ya'll. I am still angry, but also hurting all over as well. My boss sent me home a bit early today, because she said she could tell just looking at me that I was definitely none too comfortable. I feel stiff, and awkward and just... achy. It sucks. I know EXACTLY how you feel! I was rear-ended two years ago by a lady who was PASSED OUT at the wheel because she was doped up on PCP. There I was, sitting at the light, getting ready to turn onto Market St. and she comes coasting down the ramp from 95 and SLAMS into the back of my car.

I was in nine months of therapy and she was so out of it, they had to carry her away in an ambulance at the scene. Her insurance was no where near cooperative so I had to get a lawyer (because I was getting no where acting as myself). It took forever, but they finally settled my case. Regardless, no amount of money will ever make up for the damage she did to my vehicle AND my body.

I hope things work out for you.

it really does suck :( I just found out today that she has a suspended license too, and multiple DUIs. I am so amazed nothing more can be done about people like this, who just keep doing it over & over again. since her insurance company is going to fight it, I'll pay the deductible. I have a crappy insurance company that I was planning to get rid of this month, since I just got promoted and am making more money, but now I have to wait. the bodyshop I use is AMAZING, and will pay the $1G and my rental car fees, and I'll re-pay them after the lawsuit is settled. I have a lawyer and just started physical therapy (my back is pretty messed up), which I have to go to today before work & like 4 times a week. there goes my free time. I have to see a regular doc once or twice a month too. this is crazy. my life is being turned upside down because of some drunk, who's obviously been caught before but never learns a lesson. I am so paranoid about driving now, I can't believe this happened twice within ten months. jesus christ.
