Playing Catch Up: Knitting
Made some progress on the knit Dashound for Willipus over the weekend. Its knitting up pretty quickly, when I get some dedicated time for it. Its lots of little pieces that get joined up as I go. I'm part way through its tummy. Then on to its tail, back and collar. And its bone, Willipus is very insistent he have a bone just like in the ( Read more... ) -

Yetimas
Phew, its been a busy couple of weeks. Actually having a family vacation this year so I've had little to no computer time. I need to get some pics of what I've been working on and catch up on posts. In the meantime, here is a Yeti feltie I made for our Yetimas (kind of like xmas in July) gift exchange last weekend.

Restocking the Stash
The SO had the day off today. I took advantage and ran out to check out Mouline's new location. Their new place is big and bright, and located not far from Vendome metro which is also very nice. Staff was very helpful too ( Read more... ) -
What's on the Wheel - Frustration
Yesterday I got so upset I wanted to chuck my wheel out the window. After ripping everything out a couple of weeks back and starting over things were going Ok. And then yesterday things went to hell. Adventures in Knitting
I'd been hunting for a pullover sweater pattern to knit for my Jellybean. Because I'm picky and cheap I haven't found one yet. Nutmeg makes me crazy!
A couple of weeks ago I started trying to spin the nutmeg coridale to go with the toffee I'd finished. It hasn't been going to good. It kept breaking on me, for no reason I could identify, it broke about every 2min. I'd just get things spliced and going and it would come apart further up.
