I am super obsessed with HunterxHunter. I really like the new animation. Although I think that Killua's voice and Hisoka's voice was better in the first animation. Killua's voice was manlier and well Hisoka's voice was more crazy clownish/perverted. I read all the manga and watched all the anime+ all ovas. I really like this series, I think series that have characters die is good. I think that animes or manga's where characters are basically immortal do not make sense. What is the point of it? It is like they do not have a real purpose, they might as well be a in mmorpg running the same raid dungeon over and over again. I like hoping the main character won't die etc vs knowing the characters won't die no matter how serious their injuries are. I like bleach but when Hiyori doesn't die when she is basically split in half....there is seriously stupid deus machina going on. While I understand that most of the characters are dead (shinigami) I mean it seems as if they can die? What happens to them when they die? I always wondered about that. I the code geass commentary the director was saying something along the lines that you have to establish whether characters can die or not in the first 5 episodes. I thought that was interesting. Since when I think about it, its true.
I wonder what Killua meant by "I still have an order left". So that means he can order Alluka to do something as well as a wish? How is Killua going to save Alluka and Gon at the same time. I wish the author would at least explain all the rules to us. But I guess we are stuck at the same pace as the adversaries finding out the rules TT. I am interested in the election. Personally even though Leorio is 3rd I do not think he has a chance at winning a popularity vote. Hmmm...I think it would be interesting if Pariston won though. I mean than there is a story. I duno really what it would be, but like a corrupt government type of feeling. If Leorio won, I mean it's kind of like Deus Ex again? haha I mean really I mean it's like a president of a country that can only greet someone in the native language. let's face it Leorio has a crappy nen. I'm sure emission is cool the franken guy seems like her can kill guys fast. But in the end, I think it's totally specialization, transformation, and reinforment that are the strongest nen. Specialization only cause Kuroro has a ridiclous one, I mean when he was thinking of his nen it was totally a person that didn't have any kind of "I can't do this, cause it's to powerful". After all their thinking represents their nen, and thus the rules they impose also affects it.
I saw a thread on mangafox about what type of nen ability you would have. I would say that I would want specialization. The ability to entrap people in a game. While they are in the game, their nen are mine to use.
rules:
1. Can only have 1 nen type in the game at a time.
2. If someone dies while stuck in the game thier nen is mine indefinetly, until another player is replaced with it.
3. If the player stays alive in real life the power is returned to them in a years time or in the time it takes them to complete a complete game.
4. The minmum a character has to stay in the game is 3 months.
5. All nen must be observed before being sucked in. If they are not observed they can not be used.
haha that was fun. I love super power type of animes. Like bleach, shugo chara, hunterxhunter, tsubasa chronicles, bleach,
Penguindrum. So my bf said he doesn't think it will be able to wrap up in 3 more episodes. He thinks there is to much to explain. If I remember from Utena alot was never explained. However the last episode was a WTF episode so you kind of forget about all those small questions you had.
Who killed the parents?
Who is in the hats?
What is the survival strategy?
What the F are the apple medicine?
What happened the survival strategy? Did the medicine Sanetoshi gave Himari kind of suppress it?
Does Kenzan have a brother? Was that a clone?
Where is Natsume's mom?
How did Natsume's dad die?
Who are Himari's parents?
Does this mean Shouma is the real kid of the Takakura's?
What the F is child broiler? Is it real? Fantasy?
Are Momoka and Shoma some type of aliens?
So who was the goddess?
What the F is the penguindrum?
Is there a penguindrum?
Who are the penguins?
Why are they invisible?
Why did Kenzan's survival strategy fail? Did Momoka do it? Who took the fall for it?
Can Kanba see ghosts? Is he just crazy?
Why didn't Kenzan's or Chiemi's clothes change in any of the flash backs?
What does Masako's project M stand for?
While I do not think all of them will be answered I do think most will. I think Ikuhara is one of those guys that like things that have alot of open to interpretation type of things. Some things can just be considred plot holes. We just have to wait it out I guess.
