Monetarist. Basically, he was one of the biggest leading libertarians ever and he sort of has some sort of ridiculous economic philosophy that says that as long as we keep inflation at 3% per year, nothing can go wrong. Which is wrong. But that's all.
And he's the most recent popular economist of the big three. Smith, Keynes, and Friedman are Classicism, Keynesianism, and Monetarism.
