walking down the street this morning, the cold brought tears to my eyes, which then started freezing onto my eyelashes. i've noticed that people who walk by themselves in this city usually have two methods: look down at the sidewalk to avoid eye contact, or look up past anyone going by them. either way people are completely ignoring everyone else.
