Hiya, I just felt like I should drop a quick line, what with being gone for a week and all.
I just want to say that I had a really  good Shabbat this past week (yes, even though I wasn't home). I met Batya's friends and they were just such cool, sweet, great people. And of course I had a great time with Batya herself. Admittedly, I wasn't expecting ( Read more... )

yeah, i missed yeshiva a lot after i left, too. i planned a chevruta every day for an hour and a half for gemara with this person who went to my high school, and he was a year ahead of me, and now he's getting married! it's crazy...
and at college, in semester 1, i learned gemara and halacha.... oh torah, i wish i was learning more now. It really helps me to learn in a chevruta

Yay for Elul!
Oy, succot in tironut, nasty, is that the other problems you aren't thinking about for now, lol?
But its really great to be able to start the year with elul in midrasha... Yay!
