Ugh, I got closed out of 2 of the classes I wanted to take Spring term, so now I'm stuck taking Calculus 2, first hour!!1! I was hoping to avoid ever taking a first hour class at Knox, and a math one that I really don't need to take this term (but can't find anything else to take) makes it even worse ( Read more... )

Yeah, I know that having to be somewhere at 8:30am isn't that bad in the real world, but it kinda sucks during college, lol.

Since when is first hour 8:30? I also have a first hour class next term (Econ 302, MWTF, so at least I'll get Tuesday's off...) and it starts at 8:00 on the dot. First hour ends at 9:10 in time for second hour to start at 9:20. I have never had a first hour class before (and also swore I wouldn't during my entire time here) but I've had plenty of second hour ones (damn intro language series always being at 2nd hour) and can count back... Maybe yours is different?

Ha. I got into all my classes (woo). Although apparently all my classes are full, which means they should have an irritating number of people in them (like religion and politics last year, which had somewhere between forty and fifty people - and, fyi, rooms over there don't fit that many people).

But I do have 3s and 5s Tues/Thurs, which is going to suck like whoa. *sigh* (But only 6 on MWF!)

Aww hun - I know the feeling - I had to take chem 102 1st hour winter term, so yeah, it sucks a lot, but you'll do well. If this is your only first hour class you have to take - consider yourself lucky. Have a good one.
