Still Here.

I'm not quite sure what made me want to get back on LiveJournal again tonight, which is actually to say what made me want to post on LiveJournal again tonight. I've been here (there's not much else to do this summer), mostly reading community entries and those that are on my fandom filter, because for some reason that's easier than looking at ( Read more... )

Well, interesting.

As you may have noticed, I've started a new LJ. DianaApollo, was my high school years. It helped me through a lot, and now this is going to help me through college.

I miss you tons, and I really want to see you again soon. How was lunch with Leanne?

I love you. Miss you. All that emotional stuff? I feel it for you...

...except maybe the urge to have sex with you...

LoL

Love you.

I did notice, sorry I haven't friended you yet - I think you friended me in one of those many months that I wasn't on LJ period. and I never got around to adding you once I was sorta back. But I understand the sentiment, I feel like such a different person than the one who created this journal (though still so very much the same) and wonder if a new one would help me sort of filter what's still left of this one and what might grow in a new one. At the same time, though, there's so much in here that I don't want to just be erased... An odd feeling ( ... )

Poetry majors don't drink tea: we drink coffee. But we demand that everyone aspire toward thoughtful -- even computer science geeks. Especially computer science geeks working in the word world as you are. You're a human being, you have feelings, you want to communicate them, and the language you know is English. See where I'm going with this? Everyone should write, regardless of whether it is good or whether one thinks it good.

Oh, and the thing I really had to say: I found that gross synthetic guacamole in my mom's fridge and remembered that I need to teach you how to make real guac (my mom is just too lazy). Avacado is the 5th ingredient! Skim milk is first! Who puts skim milk in guacamole? And egg whites? What a horrible sin!

Oh, Mary, what am I going to do without you for a weekend? Without your wisdom and wit?

Ah, right, take advantage of free laundry and make sure Romulus doesn't die.

I meant other, non-poetry majors who drink tea - believe me, I know you're a strick coffeehol addict. And it's nice to know that you all are trying to improve the literacy of the world one geek at a time. Most of the time it's just me wanting to hear myself talk (figuratively), though, and if I wrote down and posted half the LJ entries that went through my head everyday, you'd revoke your good will. :)

I would totally put skim milk and egg whites in my guacamole, but only because I like to keep my cholesterol at a reasonable level. However, I am more than willing to learn the great secrets of the guacamole when you have the time (and avaocados at HyVee become more appetizing looking).

...no no no, you have it all wrong. It's not reasonable to put milk or egg into guacamole AT ALL, in any form.

I stand corrected.

Romulus freaked me out yesterday when I went over by dissapearing. I searched for 20 minutes, and was convinced he'd run out somehow, even though everything was locked up when I got there. Then I found him hanging out under the bed. Damn cat.

hehehe. I find this amusing in an odd capacity- you read my journal! I was wondering if anyone would notice I posted again since it looked as though everyone had been gone as long as I had.

Eh. I've considered renaming my journal for a nominal fee. I suspect that the reasons that I haven't done so start with my excuse that the person that was wyzardofaus is still here somewhere... at the moment this old place fills some sort of social void I carry around.

Let me know how your health regime is working out- I'm having some issues in the weight and energy areas. I look forward to talking to you sometime soon.

You're on my friend's list, and you updated after the 16th, therefore I read it. Come on, you didn't honestly think I took you off my list or just skipped over your entries, did you? I still rather enjoy hearing, er, reading about what you're up to. (Hearing too, I suppose, but lately I swear I've forgotten how to use a phone ( ... )
