Not getting backed up on this one. Simply because of the forgetfulness. What about Ginger...isn't she enough? Isn't all the happiness and love she gives enough...?

I don't know about a Koi, they get kinda big don't they? What about a beta fish though. Very easy to take care of and they don't mind living in small bowls so they aren't in the way.

Four and a half years later, I have gotten him, by virtue of him liking the sound of running water as he sleeps, to put my fish tank, complete with fish, in his room. He is taking care of the fish very well, and it hasn't died yet. He's had it in his room four whole months, and all is well :)
