wow... king richard's faire... that brings back memories. actually... I went there once. with Daveish and Jay. hehehe... that's the day that confirmed for me that "Zygon" was an adorable nerd-boy that I wanted for mah very own. hehe. the place felt rather dead, though, comparing to SoCal faire... prolly because I didn't know anyone but the people I went with. *shrug*
It's actually rather small compared to most faires, but how busy it is depends on the day that you go. And it does help to know people. :)
Sadly, "mah" nerd-boy did not go with me this time. But I plan on dragging him for the last day. It is conveniently the day before my birthday. hehehe. :)
Faires always mean a hell of a lot more when you know the people involved. And if you don't, you can always get to know the folks involved. If you go often enough, people start to recognize you. Next thing you know, the hot flexible chick in a leotard cares that you are taking Prozac, and that you won't be able to see her show 15 times this year, lol.
That was a good day. I think I remember eating a huge drumstick probably the size of my head. Yay! My first time wearing your hat.. happiness hat? happity-spaz hat? I ferget its name. Moo!

Note: "Should be" doesn't mean it is.
