[RL with Darc]

Zelda was glad for the distraction that Darc would provide. She was growing more and more fretful and restless as of late, and was often kept awake late into the night by the howling and screeching of Twilight beasts. They never slept, it seemed. Occasionaly they scratched at her window, shrieking to be let in so loudly that Zelda had to clamp her hands over her ears and curl into a ball on her bed in an attempt to ignore them. They went away, usually. Sometimes they scratched and clawed and smashed themselves against her window so loudly she was rather surprised the window didn’t break. She assumed it was Ganondorf’s idea of…fun; a way to let her know that it was him, and not her who was in control of the land.

So when Darc said he would come…Zelda was relieved, and happy. She stood now by that window, hands pressed against the pane, her eyes closed. She was used to waiting; it was something she did daily. Waiting for Darc was…different, though. She knew he would come regardless. She had confirmation; he always came when he said he would.

So...she waited.
