A watery portal soon appeared on the wall, and Darc stepped through it quickly. On his back where the fay-like wings that had started the whole mess. They glittered in the light of Zelda's room. By no means did he seem happy about them or the glittering, though there was a modicum of relief in his arrival since it meant no one from his own world would see him.

"Zelda," he greeted her curtly but sincerely.

"Greetings, Darc. It is good to see you again, even under these circumstances." She resisted the urge to smile, and she dipped her head gently; the closest she ever came to a bow. She sincerely appreciated the fact that he had dropped her title when speaking with her, it grated on her every nerve when her friends referred to her by her station. It was frustration. She pushed the black hood back from her face and took a step closer to him, eyes examining his...wings. It should not be difficult to get rid of them, though she would need to think about how to go about it.

"Right." Another simple, curt response. His sense of humiliation seemed to be making him so tense that speech didn't come easily. In an attempt to relax a little now that he was in the presence of someone he trusted, he let out a sigh; it did little to help.

"I hope this works. I can't believe I fell for it, damn it..!"

In the meantime, Darc was trying with all his might to keep them still. His original wings could be folded against him, but he wasn't so lucky with his new set.

"My apologies." She murmured, sensing that humiliation and frustration. She couldn't say that she understood, exactly, but she understoof frustration very well.

"Sit." She gestured to a chair, she needed to be able to see what she was doing.
