I spent Thanksgiving at Charlie's in Metairie. His parents have finally moved back into their house. They should be calling to get their trailor picked up soon. Only took a year and a half. Completely ridiculous considering my parents had their kitchen finished in less than two months. It's impossible to find good construction people in NOLA

considering the amount of construction still going on in new orleans, it would make sense it would take longer than re-doing a kitchen.

perhaps not a year and a half, but a while makes a bit of sense.
