I believe the shot of a body landing is momentarily before he calls Watson and he got a body from molly when he went to see her, when he jumps, Sherlock jumps into those bin bags you can see behind the body when Watson runs round the corner before he's hit by the bike, I know that's a seriously flawed theory but it's the best I've got, I'd love to see a more completely theory and I'm sure I will soon :-)

That's great, thank you for that! That seems like the most logical thing that could've happened. Also, lindor1306 commented here with a really expanded version of this theory that you should take a look at if you're interested :)

You can know how to fall off a horse, you can't know how to fall off a building. If that would have been him hitting the pavement he wouldn't have survived. End of story. He'd have broken his neck, his back, there would've been the contents of his skull all over the pavement, not just an obviously small amount of blood. My theory Molly pushed a body out a window, Sherlock landed in the conveniently placed van of hospital laundry (it was sheets, not rubbish), a member of his homeless network (so open to bribes) hit John with the bike so he wouldn't see, in time to swap over before people arrived (i.e. the conveniently placed Doctor and nurse ready to sweep Sherlock away before John could really check him out).

Oh wow! That's amazing, that's the best version of this theory I've heard all night! Thank you very much for that, it makes a lot more sense than anything else I've subsequently came up with since writing this entry :)

Thank you. It's the best I can come up with. Why else would the laundry truck drive away just as people start arriving unless he was involved? You just wouldn't. Of course knowing Moffat and Gatiss this'll probably be complete rubbing and he actually parachuted down while humming along to Bananarama on his iPod!

To be honest, I didn't even notice the laundry truck drive away. I was weeping too much that he actually jumped in the first place and my broken heart is protesting too much to go near BBC iPlayer.... although the absolutely EPIC mental image of him parachuting down to Bananarama is just so funny I may never be able to watch that bit the same way again XD

But thank goodness we're definitely having series 3, I would've cracked if I thought that was it!

Also, the Sherlock team are evil geniuses of doom, getting Benedict saying they might not do series 3! That's why I worried they killed him properly right up until we see him!! I have grey hairs because of them!!

Steve Moffat did tweet confirming Season 3 before the episode had finished last night, but even so...!

I don't know what to do with my feelings about this episode so I think I should just go on a Sherlock fanfic reading spree.

Also that hand-holding thing was like the most romantic action I've ever seen because John will always be running by Sherlock's side no matter what and ugh sasdfghj.

That's what I've done! I'm wading past the enormous amount of Reichenbach tags because if I see anything more from that ep, I will cry again haha

I KNOW!! HAND-HOLDING ADORABLENESS FTW!! Thank goodness I wasn't the only one who thought that, all the way through that scene I was squealing so much that I'm not sure what all exactly happened during those few moments. All I knew was Sherlock and John were holding hands and everything was perfect and nothing hurt!! ....and then Sherlock was on the roof... *cries*

It was indeed awesomesauce - Molly is the only loose end that makes any sense for saving Sherlock but I still can't really see how.... And I am wondering if Sherlock faked such a convincing death, maybe Moriarty faked his suicide too...
A year & half is a very long wait.

Absolutely it was! And I can't wait another year and a half. I'm going funny in the head just thinking about that long of a wait.

Also, I thought to myself, "Oh! At least we'll have a little Sherlock reunion with Martin and Benny in "The Hobbit" this year.... but then again that's not til Decemeber - DAMN!!"
