Disregard the fact that the scanner glass needs badly to be cleaned.





All roads lead to...Paris. 'Point zéro' on the plaza in front of Notre-Dame.



In the Salon du Soleil, a smallish polygon of a room walled with mirrors, of the Opéra Garnier.
This was the most successful of my attempts at playing with said mirrors.



Not phallic. Not phallic at all.



This was our breakfast one morning. With baguettes, naturally.



Eros and Psyche by Canova, in the Louvre. The grace and delicacy of this sculpture is breathtaking.



Closer. I was particularly proud of the lighting in this one.



I found this funerary stele exceptionally compelling, showing
not simply the deceased person as a bust, but the bereaved as well.



Detail of a Pietà by an Italian painter whose name escapes me.



The winged Nike of Samothrace.

Turns out that the one roll of film that was left here undeveloped by accident was the one that most of my Louvre visit was on. I'm looking forward to seeing exactly what else I took pictures of.
