I knew someone who ran into Eddie Izzard in Victoria's Secret, here in Chicago, the day before one of his shows, and he gave her two tickets to the show. I was soooo envious.

Have you ever heard the musical Pippin? (Specifically the song Simple Joys?) This post (for self-evident reasons, I feel) reminded quite a bit of that song. :)
