Shoshi is a princess of Nyosei and heir to the throne. Because of the high expectations everyone has for her, Shoshi has the tendency to act extremely aloof around people. She is very responsible and loyal to her friends, along with her country and will calculate accordingly, sometimes without regard to those around her. The safety of her country and her well-being are what are most important to her, and she will stop at nothing to keep them safe. Because of her military training, she is often the strategic expert of the group. Quick to act, she will dive in immediately once the situation has been assessed, which is often. Her reaction is almost instantaneous, and she rarely taunts the enemy, instead preferring to do the work as quickly as possible. Shoshi is adept with all sorts of weapons and even helps some of the seishi train when she is able to. However, because of her high rank in Nyosei, she is often unable to travel with them. Her intuition about people is often on mark. Shoshi also has a fire gem on her forehead that allows her to use fire magic. Her favorite weapon is the chain whip.
Shoshi is the first seishi to meet Nari and is the second seishi that Nazo encounters. She is much gentler towards Nari than she is towards Nazo, reasoning that because he is a man, he can better take it.
