For the two nominees that are campaigning right now, I prefer Obama. He is passionate and new and wants to change things. Will he actually be able to, that's unknown. But the promise is there. Clinton still has that reputation of being cold and calculating but you know, I think she could actually make a good President… just not at this time. It isn't because I think the US isn't ready for a female president but because I don't think she would follow Bush well. Trying to sum up Bush I come up with words like vacant and conniving. Part of that is him and part is his administration. The way he and his administration have acted has really alienated a lot of people, at home and abroad. To get away from that, to win back the people of this country and improve relations with the world at large, I think we need passion which I think Hillary lacks. Not to say she doesn't have passion, but it seems to me her passion is to win while Obama's is to make things better. As for a combined ticket… I could get behind that, maybe, but I think there might be problems there. A power struggle if you will. If they hadn't campaigned against each other as long as they have, I think it would have been easier but now I am unsure if it would work. And we have to look forward to more campaigning as the winner squares off against McCain. I could go off on how starting so early is probably going to tire everyone of these endless debates and such, but that is a different rant. My two cents.

Hmm, I really need to get more icons for those extra spaces I have.
