It'll come with time. You have to get over the aversion of putting something in your eye first. Once you do that, touching your eye, and sweeping the contacts out and putting them in, becomes no problem at all.

I would, I think, die without contacts. I cannot stand glasses. I cannot stand having my vision impaired by frames. I like having the full range of my vision.

The real problem was the wanted to see me put them in and out to make sure I could. Fine, I understand that. But by the third demonstration my eyes were getting a little irritated and so was I. The first time they were put in by them, the second I did, and the third, well, that was a fiasco.

Me, I couldn't make the switch to contacts. Can't bear the thought of something in my eye; couldn't bear the lack of weight on my face. So best of luck to ya.

I've tried them before and they were okay. But back then I had to wear hard contacts which were smaller and had a shimmery halo effect in my vision. Plus I chose a bad year to try them. I was took a swim class for gym that year in high school, so the chlorine did not help with the situation at all.
