So I got sucked into Skip Beat! and really like Tsuruga Ren. Go figure. And I decided that my Zenith Bertrand looked enough like him to pull it off. So, still need to get a better wig, and possibly some other eyes, but I do at least have some clothes to try out from Dollmore coming in shortly.
In the meantime, this outfit and wig will do.

I totally should not have looked at the wiki. . . now I kind of want to read the manga at least. . . plus I got the idiotic idea that chibi Isao could be Kuon. XD

I got it and I got to chapter 12. . . it's slow going on dial-up. ~_~ I should check the used bookstores or the library.

I think the weather in the lower 48 would cook me. ^^; I can take the cold (sort of) and the dark. . . but more than twice the normal snow?! Ack! >_<'

Heh, wasn't Kuon a bit of a troublemaker (and blonde. . . ish)? ^_~ I read some of the synopsis so I wouldn't totally be in the dark with the manga.

I read all the online scans I could get (many missing pages and even a missing full chapter! Argh!), then found the anime and am now watching that the second time through... about to read the manga again.
I looked on ebay, and it's running about $300 for the first 20 or so books! O_O
If I could just read Japanese well enough, I'd go for one of the even bigger sets off Yahoo Japan for a fraction of that cost, even with shipping and conversion rates!

I don't how I found Skip Beat. I think I was just browsing anime and decided to watch it since it was about acting.

And it really IS pretty accurate about acting, at least what I know about it from doing local theatre, ren faire, Victorian caroling and other performance arts way back when.
