Wondering if I'll ever be employed

So it's been about a week since I had my drug test. I still have not gotten a phone call about going in for training or anything. I went in this weekend and was told that there were issues between HR and the store so they hadn't gotten the results and paper work. I'm really getting annoyed I'd like to start soon cause I have bills due in a few ( Read more... )

Even if you are going to get the job, most jobs don't offer your first paycheck until two weeks of working there.

Yeah, I figured it'd be about 2 weeks before I get a check, but I really need to start soon so I can get into the payroll system and all. At NMU they'd always hold the first paycheck and it'd be sent as the last one or something. I'm just hoping it's nothing like that there.
