OK IM NOT ONE TO BITCH OR CARE ABOUT THE GOVT. AND CRAP LIKE THAT BUT SHIT WHAT IS WRONG WIT OUR GOVT. PEOPLE ARE DYING AND STUCK IN TEXAS Y DONT THE GOVT DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.... Amen Brother!!!!! RighT on!!!! lol... i definately agree with u.... they must paint the perfect picture for countries outside,... but yet within...its not so beautiful. Natural disasters are gonna happen, out of our control, but how quick the recovery process goes is in our control. i def agree that they responded poorly to mississippi and louisiana!

it made much sense.... i definately agree with you on the first one.In dickinson, we were told if we were not out by a certain time then basically we were S-O-L!!! Until that time, buses and other transportation would be sent out to rescue for ppl that need it but after that hour, the problem is yours. Now ill admit that alot of the negative judgement i have on bush is media inspired so i could be wrong. But consider this, the area was not told in time enough to evacuate. this was the first major hurricane that area had had in a long time so perhaps they didnt know what to expect ( ... )

well said sweety! u always seem to have right words to say... not on some stalking shit but i do read your posting often and i feel u should seriously use that talent as a journalist or writer or something...

Wow, Joey, I'm really surprised and pleased that your eyes were unveiled. You're right and you have valid arguments that no one can really answer since our government chooses what lies to feed you, so we never get the truth about anything. RIGHT ON!! I TAUGHT YOU WELL!
You should use your mind for such thoughts more often, you have potential

Oh good lord, there are so many inaccuracies in the previous post that I don't even know where to begin. So, I'm not really going to. Maybe I'll present my actual opinions some other time.

Sorry, Joe, I totally disagree with almost everything you have said. But hey, it's cool to criticize the US these days, right?

So woot woot, Bush is a satanic terrorist who wants to kill US soldiers and he made deadly hurricanes and eats babies and spits out their bones! Yay for hating America! Lets all move to France so we can rip on other countries but have those same countries save our asses later!

WOW THIS THING GOT BIGGER THEN I THOUGHT, ONE REASON I WROTE THIS IS BECUZ EVERYBODY BEEN TOOO QUIET ON LIVEJOURANL SO I THOUGHT I STIR THINGS UP A BIT.. LETS SEE MY FIRST COMMENT WOULD BE WE GOT ALL THESE VOLUNTEER TROOPS THAT BECAME SOILDERS WANNA DEFEND OUR COUNTRY AND HELP THE U.S.A. FOR A LIVING ARE REALLY THROWING AWAY THERE LIVES, FACE IT THE SO CALLED WAR IS WAY OVER WE WON THAT IN LIKE A WEEK AND WELL MORE PEOPLE ARE DYING OVER THERE NOW THEN THEY DID WITH THE WAR WAS IN PROGRESS, SO HELLO I DONT SEE MR.BUSH OR CONGRESS MAKING ANY REAL PUSH OR COMMENTS TO BRING BACK ANYBODY QUICKER FOR MAYBE SOME AMERICAN RELIEF WHERE IT IS REALLY NEEDED, WE GOT LIKE THOUSANDS OF THOSE BILLION DOLLAR HELICOPTERS AND GIANT AIR FORCE ONE LIKE AIRPLANES THAT COULD BE HELPING WIT PART OF THE EVAUCATIONS THAT WERE NEEDED AND HELP OUT IN THE RELIEF EFFORT BUT NO WHERE TO BE FOUND... It's so much more than "playing the hero." The US is doing this with ourselves in mind, as well as liberating the people of Iraq. And of course they want to come home and see their families, but that is simply a consequence of joining the military. It sucks, but if you can't handle it, don't do it. Hence, why I am not in the army.

People complain about there not being enough relief...I don't see your ass down there. Why do we always have to rely on the troops to fix everything if we were really American then wouldn't you be down there helping out too? Some people haven't even given money to the relief efforts, but wanna complain that the poor people have no food, shelter or anything else. BLAH!
