I am having a quarter life crisis. There are too many things that I enjoy and yet few that i want to commit to. In matters of taste and style, this is getting disturbing

Wait...David Lynch is an optimist??

Um..yeah. "Blue Velvet" has a surpassingly optimistic worldview. So does "The Straight Story," "Wild at Heart" and "Twin Peaks" even. When he is not making psychological twisters like "Mulholland Drive" and "Lost Highway," he is a pretty decent and optimistic guy.
