AVP:R a review - I wouldn't call them spoilers because it sucked

I decided I needed to watch Alien Vs Predator: Requiem to decide just how horribly they have frakked up the franchises

the baby eating/food for growing aliens was full of win for me.

the awkward teenage rite of passage subplot was so fucking horrible it was awesome, which kinda sums up that whole movie.

i still want to see batman: dead end come to fruition...

in case you don't know what i'm talking about, because it's fucking AWESOME.

LOL - I was totally expecting Batman to turn around at the end, see the aliens, then say, "whoa! I am SO out of here!" then shoot some cable and zip out of there

maybe the babies stem cells acted like miracle-gro for alien hatchlings and allowed them to be birthed at near full-size (not to mention purging them of that pesky predator DNA).

krull. that was a great fucking movie. they made some game called dark sector and it had a glaive in it. i don't think it had anything to do with krull though, so i was hella annoyed.

i think they were trying to stick to the whole whatever the xenomorph egg hatches from, it takes on that shape part of the canon, but then fuck it all up by allowing some random non-queen alien to be able to implant eggs in crap. so, yeah, i don't know what the fuck. because, seriously, hatching from a predator doesn't make it anymore special than the ones that hatched out of newt's family or the fucking dog.

all i do know: babies getting eaten is always good cinema.

They weren't anywhere near full sized, though. Just regular alien baby size, but in triplets or more I guess. I gathered it was difficult to tell time passing in the movie because it was dark and all the lights were out
