Finally! I has a good! My new road bike is done. YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

Wow! That looks impressive. Looks like you started the drinking late enough into the build (i.e. everything looks reasonably straight). :P

I'll have to talk to you sometime about the makings of a good commuting bicycle (well, commuting bicycling system if you will -- though I know the basic semi-platitudes like "dress in layers", I'm naive even about those sorts of details). Carolyn's getting close to car-free now (but she's not working so has more time) and I'd like to join her on that, and keep it mostly year 'round.

A neater way to do the computer wiring is to coil it around the front brake cable housing and follow it down to the right side fork leg. It takes in the slack and keeps it tidy and out of the way.

Yeah, I know... that would be how the mtn bike was fitted... but trust me by the time we got to that we were not thinking about the neatest way to get it on there. :-)
