i dont know..there was another screen cap i saw that is seemed that the actor Robert Patrick had only 4 fingers (he may or may not...it was hidden behind a glass) in one of Sawyer's Flashbacks...

so i dont know...

it looks like he has 5 and one is just hidden, try looking up the actor though, and see if he has 4 or 5 fingers though...

1. Alex is a girl.

2. If she did have 4 fingers, it would be a special effect for the show, not part of the actor's own physicalities, because there was a key moment in the finale when the LOSTies discover a giant 4-toed, sandaled foot that on a leg that looked as though it were broken off of a once much bigger sculpture.

i believe that those fingers you see are her finger fingers and that her thumb is just wrapped around the back of the arm. like she is holding onto his arm so why wouldn't her thumb be behind his arm?
