Dear Author letter, Yuletide 2014
Hello Author!
Thank you so much for writing for me! I was so swamped with stuff for grad school and work, I am just writing now! Sorry for being a few days late :)
Overall, here are my likes and dislikes. I just adore kissing (lots and lots of kissing), fluff with substance (but not syrupy), and some angst as long as it ends happy. Sexy times is always appreciated. I like anything from subtle connection to PWP, so feel free to add as much or as little of that as you wish. I don't like BDSM, super hardcore angst, death, hatefulness, extreme OOC behavior, etc. I love AUs, so if you want to put them in a different time period or make them spies or professors or teenagers or something, that could be awesome!
I like angst as much as the next person, but I like happy endings. I get really upset with open endings and things that don’t work themselves out. I like fluff, but not super syrupy stuff. I don’t really like miscommunication, but a little bit on the way to any couple getting together is fine. I cannot handle humiliation or making one of the characters feel left out or wrong. I love established relationship fic, future fic, kid fic, getting together fic, etc. It’s all good! I love all the ideas I put in my sign up, so feel free to run with them.
Request #1 - Tyler Hoechlin/Dylan O'Brian (Teen Wolf RPF)
I JUST CAN'T WITH THESE TWO, I REALLY CAN'T! Tyler and Dylan are just too precious and I'd love to see anything with them. I love their relationship and how much you can tell they like each other, so using this while they are on set or morphing it into an AU would be awesome. I think Tyler's mancrush on Dylan and Dylan's on Tyler is just too cute. Maybe it can be something while they are filming new things (Maze Runner/Scorch Trials or the Baseball movie) and are away from each other. Or something between filming when they have down time. Maybe even focusing on how paranoid Dylan is with people taking his picture when he's not at an official event or something like that, where they are almost hermits together because neither of them really want to deal with it. Or them at a Con or at a club. Or using them on set or morphing them into a Hogwarts AU (student/teacher or shifted ages, just no 2nd year and 7th year hinkyness please) would be awesome! I just love the idea of them :)
Request #2 - Will Jardell/Mathew Smith (America's Next Top Model RPF)
I love this two this season! They have been so cute and slashy and I just can't take it! I would love something set during the show where they are trying to be away from the cameras and away from the drama in the house. Or maybe something after the show, where they meet on an assignment or in a photo shoot. Maybe they meet again after leaving the competition as friends and they have to pose together in some photo shoot and the feelings that started during the show come back in full force and they reconnect. Anything like that would be awesome!
Request #3 - Luke Snyder/Noah Mayer (As The World Turns)
OMG MY FEELS FOR THESE TWO ARE SO GREAT! I was obsessed with this pairing when the show was on and I will always be bitter they cancelled it. I would love to see something after the show ended, because it was so promising and hopeful but they didn't have time to properly put them back together. How do they get back together, what happens, does Luke go to LA, does Noah come back to Oakdale? You can also write something set while the show was on if you want. I don't mind Reid being mentioned, but I would prefer him not being in the fic.
Request #4 - Emperor Hadrian/Antinous (Roman Empire RPF)
OMG, their story just kills me. I took a Roman art class and we discussed these two and I've been obsessed with their story ever since. I went to Italy and visited Hadrian's Villa and the Vatican Museums and there are so many statues of Antinous in so many guises that Hadrian made of him from when Hadrian deified Antinous after he died. I just can't think about the two of them without getting incredibly sad but also really happy, to think about being that in love with one another. I would love something about them before Antinous died, or maybe rewrite history a little and just make it where Antinous faked his death and Hadrian would go see him on his many travels and no one ever knew so there was no worry of him being taken away from Hadrian. As much as it would kill me, I'd also totally read something where Hadrian is having a statue made and reminiscing about him and Antinous, so there are flashbacks with Antinous in them, and Hadrian is obviously still in love with him. Although that would probably rip my heart out XD
Request #5 - Thomas/Newt, Thomas/Minho, Thomas/Newt/Minho (Maze Runner)
This movie did a great job of translating the book! I am still working my way through the series, so anything past the first 80 or so pages of Scorch Trials would be into spoiler territory and I would prefer not to go there. So please don't spoil me and keep it to strictly the Maze Runner movie or book related things.
I would love some scenes of them in the Glade. Thomas is my fav character and I'd love to see him with either of these guys. He has such an interesting relationship with both of them. If you're feeling adventurous, you can write a threesome! Newt is so sarcastic and Minho is a smartass, but they are both so strong. They are in such an intense situation and anything that explores that would be awesome! They have such an interesting dynamic as the movie (and book) progresses that I'd like any exploration of that as well.
