For what it's worth, I had the same reactions when I heard the song. And yes, it's got a good dance beat.

I watched the video and listened to a few of her other songs...it seems she might be making fun of "drunken straight" girls who do it just for show. There is a lot of subtext in the song. Overall I find I enjoy it and the small bits of controversy over it here and there.

Thanks. I used to be a poetry major in college. Sometimes I miss it, but it does make it easier to really get into the heart of catchy pop songs. :)
