I said the same thing to Allison after we left.

That kinda surprised me.

But the show did rock!

We were guessing they'd played it Saturday. The last encore with the entirely a capella Old Brown's Daughter was *lovely*, though. But Boston and St. John's would make such a good farewell!

Allison mentioned to me that she'd read on the GBS board that Old Brown's Daughter is sort of a traditional second encore.

Well, you can expect security at your commencement to be really tight, that's for sure - even tighter than it was when Madeleine Albright was the commencement speaker for my graduating class at Brandeis - and that was plenty tight. Other than that, though, I'd be thrilled to have her as a commencement speaker. Then again, I wish she'd run for President - indeed, I'd work for her campaign if she did run - and there are very few people who I would say that about.
