I am currently in search of a scooter. Not a motor scooter, just one of those cute little Razor scooters or whatever that were all the rage six or seven years ago

It's possible that, since breaking his collarbone, rickland isn't using his - assuming that the one on which he broke his collarbone was in fact his (and wasn't damaged in the incident). You could ask him.
You want a xootr. Bigger wheels, bigger platform. I think mine is in my trunk. Rickland fell off of Rex's, so it's not available.
But you don't actually want to do tihs right now, because you don't want a xootr on ice, and you certainly don't want a little razor on ice. Wait for the weather to turn.
Breaking collarbones does suck. I will still be driving to work if the ice is bad, but having done the walk, mostly the sidewalks are clear of both ice and snow. At least, they were until this morning. I can get off a scooter and walk when it's dangerous, like for example down the side of Spring Hill. Do you think it'll be that hard to evade bad spots? If so, maybe I should wait til spring, but I really hate being pushed into driving nearly every day by my apparent inability to just fucking get up when the alarm goes off.
(I'm under the standard razor weight limit by a fair chunk, but maybe I should be looking for one aimed at adults. Hm. Also, while searching for a xootr on Amazon, I found this and am amused by the thought of having it for winter and a regular one for summer.)
There are some xootrs that are not electric. THey might have discontinued the model, but you might be able to buy a used one.
I would recommend waiting until there are no icy patches at all, because they can surprise you and then you're sad. Also, you don't really want a scooter on most sidewalks in camberville. (you especially don't want little-wheeled scooters on sidewalks in camberville)
